I would like to inform the Personnel of the JRC that in the last few days there has been sightings of a Wild Boar in the Clubhouse surroundings, Tennis Courts and Foresteria.
The situation should not cause undue concern. In fact, this kind of boar is not aggressive and runs away on sighting humans. If the case should arise that you come across this boar, it is advised not to provoke it in anyway, stay clear of the area and call immediately the Servizio di Vigilanza (0332/789900) giving the exact location of the sighting.
I also advise families living the Foresteria and close to the Site to be prudent, especially in the evenings and to keep children under close watch when outside.
Colleagues who jog etc. in the woods should also be cautious and, during this period, not be alone in these areas.
